Modifications for the Aston Martin Vantage
Really hot tuning tips and advice. Employ some weight reduction to make your Vantage perform better. Top of your list for tuning mods will be a fuel boost valve (for a snappy throttle response) and a good quality panel air filter. The next level of modifications involve taking more aggressive action. The Vantage responds reasonably well to a fast road cam which is one of the best value mods out there.
NOTE: POWER GAINS ARE PROPORTIONAL TO YOUR BASE POWER. The more you start with the better your gain will be. Don’t waste time on small engines – do a swap. Turn your attention next to the Vantages engine head. With a good gas flowed ported engine you will see much better mid and peak range power and some owners have reported more economy. Many Vantage owners improve the handling of their cars with slightly stiffer springs. You shouldn’t really lower a car by more than 30-35mm.
