Available in standard form with power of upto 231bhp (depending on the year), so this goes to show the tuning potential of the 100. From this you can increase the power from anywhere between 254.1bhp to 392.7bhp which seems almost too good to be true but is possible if you have deep pockets.

The more powerful 100 Avants provide a suitable donor engine for the lower powered models in the range. There are some star performers in the 100 line up. With a few mods you will make yours a road scortcher rather than just a hot hatch.100 tuning projects should generally start with some improvement to the intake/exhaust of the engine. So get a stainless steel exhaust and good quality induction kit. A good fuel pressure regulator will up the throttle response.
FASTROAD CAMS should be next up on your tuning list and will offer big power gains on the 100. Getting better flow through the head of the engine would reward your 100 with more power. So get the engine head polished and ported.
