Modifications for the Audi A4

Available in standard form with power of upto 416bhp (depending on the year), so this goes to show the tuning potential of the A4. From this you can increase the power from anywhere between 457.6bhp to 707.2bhp which seems almost too good to be true but is possible if you have deep pockets.

If you have a lower powered A4 your best bet for a mod would be an engine swap with the 416bhp A4 Saloon. Already a popular choice for tuning up, especially the more powerful A4sCar Tuning Guide have been impressed with the addition of stainless steel exhaust systems on the A4s , if you want to improve your top end go with an air induction filter. You should also get a better fuel pressure regulator such as those supplied by FSE
The modification that gives the biggest power gain on your car would be a fast road cam. Turn your attention next to the A4s engine head. With a good gas flowed ported engine you will see much better mid and peak range power.

You will get even larger power gains for these tuning mods on a A4s. A simple remap and better intercooler will almost double your power.The most powerful A4 has a healthy 416 bhp.
