From this you can increase the power from anywhere between 489.5bhp to 756.5bhp with mods ranging from a few subtle add ons to a full engine rebuild! And more in the case of most Turbo engines if you include an uprated turbo.
Audi mods should include an engine swap to provide a better base to work from. The ‘445bhp A8 Saloons’ is a real gem in terms of power. The more powerful A8s respond well to tuning mods. Top of your list for tuning mods will be a sports exhaust system, a fuel boost valve (for a snappy throttle response) and a good quality induction kit.
A fast road cam will make quite a difference to the peak power of your A8. Getting better flow through the head of the engine would reward your A8 with more power. So get the engine head polished and ported.

On a turbo A8 you will see these power gains from anywhere between 578.5bhp to 845.5bhp. Any more than this and you will start to see unreliability appearing. Suspension upgrades are next on every A8 owners priority list. You shouldn’t really lower a car by more than 30-35mm.
