Available in standard form with power of upto 339bhp (depending on the year), so this goes to show the tuning potential of the Z4M. From this you can increase the power from anywhere between 372.9bhp to 576.3bhp which seems almost too good to be true but is possible if you have deep pockets.

BMW mods should include an engine swap to provide a better base to work from. The ‘339bhp Z4M Coupes’ is a real gem in terms of power. BMW certainly know what they are doing when it comes to making a fun car and the more powerful Z4Ms provide and excellent tuning base to work from. Top of your list for tuning mods will be a sports exhaust system, a fuel boost valve (for a snappy throttle response) and a good quality induction kit.

The modification that gives the biggest power gain on your car would be a fast road cam. Internal engine modifications that should be high up on your list would be polishing and porting the head.

The top Z4M Coupe offers a base power level of 339 bhp. The car tuning guide would expect you to see power gains from 372.9 bhp to 576.3 bhp!

Forced induction Z4Ms respond exceptionally well to tuning mods especially remaps, also add an intercooler to your mod list. The Z4Ms come in various power levels right up to 339bhp. On a motorsport prepared Z4M it is possible to achieve power figures of anywhere approaching 440.7bhp to 644.1bhp. But this sort of power requires some pretty heavy investment and a hell of a lot of engine work. . High on your list of mods for your Z4M should be handling improvements. A drop of 35mm will work well on most cars, any lower and you will hit other problems.
