Increase the power of your Bristol Blenheim
We like the Blenheim and with a few of our Blenheim tuning tips we are sure you will have a fantastic car. Better than what Bristol ever intended! On practically all cars from Bristol, you will see performance gains from some weight reduction. If you can shed a few hundred KG’s off your Blenheim you will get a much better return on your tuning investment. Top of your list for tuning mods will be a fuel boost valve (for a snappy throttle response) and a good quality panel air filter. The next level of modifications involve taking more aggressive action. The Blenheim responds reasonably well to a fast road cam which is one of the best value mods out there.
NOTE: POWER GAINS ARE PROPORTIONAL TO YOUR BASE POWER. The more you start with the better your gain will be. Don’t waste time on small engines – do a swap. Internal engine modifications that should be high up on your list would be polishing and porting the head. Some Blenheim owners report increased MPG with a flowed head. The Blenheims handling can be dramatically improved with some choice suspension modifications. The Car Tuning Guide do not recommend lowering more than 35mm.
