Tuning modifications for the Chrysler 300C
When tuning your 300C it is important that you get it right so follow our 300C tuning overview and see which the best modifications are.
Available in standard form with power of upto 427bhp (depending on the year), so this goes to show the tuning potential of the 300C. From this you can increase the power from anywhere between 469.7bhp to 725.9bhp and this would take a lot more than just bolting on a massive exhaust and adding a go faster stripe.
For serious power hikes like this you would need to look at rebores, porting and polishing and add into the mix a hefty dose of forced induction.
If you have a lower powered 300C your best bet for a mod would be an engine swap with the 427bhp 300C Saloon. Already a popular choice for tuning up, especially the more powerful 300CsYour first engine modifications for your 300C should be an induction kit, sports exhaust and fuel boost valve.
A fast road cam will make quite a difference to the peak power of your 300C. Getting better flow through the head of the engine would reward your 300C with more power. So get the engine head polished and ported.
The 300Cs come in various power levels right up to 427bhp as per the 300C Saloon If you apply a few tuning mods to this model of 300C you will see power gains from anywhere between 469.7bhp to 725.9bhp. But this sort of power requires some pretty heavy investment and a hell of a lot of engine work. .
You will get even larger power gains for these tuning mods on a 300Cs. A simple remap and better intercooler will almost double your power. The top 300C offers a base power level of 427 bhp. When setup for motorports we can expect to see almost mythical power figures approaching 555.1 bhp to 811.3 bhp! Suspension improvements can dramatically increase the road holding and cornering of your 300C. The Car Tuning Guide do not recommend lowering more than 35mm.
We will be covering 300C modifications in more detail in the future so plase bookmark this site and check back for regular updates.
