Modifications for the Kia Cerato

Available in standard form with power of upto 143bhp (depending on the year), so this goes to show the tuning potential of the Cerato. From this you can increase the power from anywhere between 157.3bhp to 243.1bhp which seems almost too good to be true but is possible if you have deep pockets.

Kia mods should include an engine swap to provide a better base to work from. The ’143bhp Cerato Hatchbacks’ is a real gem in terms of power. The already BHP endowed range of Ceratos reward tuners with a satisfying power gain. You should also get a better fuel pressure regulator such as those supplied by FSE
A fast road cam will make quite a difference to the peak power of your Cerato. Getting better flow through the head of the engine would reward your Cerato with more power. So get the engine head polished and ported.

But this sort of power requires some pretty heavy investment and a hell of a lot of engine work. . Many Cerato owners improve the handling of their cars with slightly stiffer springs. To avoid other problems you should lower the car no more than 36mm.

hello just want to know where is the air flow meter on the kia cerato ? its very urgent i need to add a chip tuning on i bought in uk i need to know what color for the 2 SIGNAL & COMMUNICATION WIRE. THAT I CAN CONNECT THE CHIP ITS ONLY TWO WIRE THAT SEND THE SIGNAL ON THE ECU BOX.. DAMN VERY DIFICULT PLEASE HELP
