Modifications for the Marcos LM
When tuning your LM it is important that you get it right so follow our LM tuning overview and see which the best modifications are. The lighter you can make your LM, the better the performance will be. Top of your list for tuning mods will be a fuel boost valve (for a snappy throttle response) and a good quality panel air filter. The modification that gives the best power gain on your car would be a fast road cam.
NOTE: ALL ENGINE POWER GAINS ARE PROPORTIONAL TO YOUR STARTING POWER. The more you start with the better your gain will be. So don’t expect miracles from small engines, and engine swap is a much better proposition. Getting better flow through the head of the engine would reward your LM with more power and may actually give a little more economy. So get the engine head polished and ported. The LMs handling can be dramatically improved with some choice suspension modifications. Although lowering improves handling you should stick to a drop of 35mm.
