Tuning tips for the Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Available in standard form with power of upto 369bhp (depending on the year), so this goes to show the tuning potential of the C-Class. From this you can increase the power from anywhere between 405.9bhp to 627.3bhp but this is far out of the reach of your local part store.
You will need some extensive work on the engine block, gas flowing, porting, 3 angle valve job, fast road cams, a remap, full balance and blueprint and even then you will need to add some pretty serious forced induction upgrades.
If you have a lower powered C-Cla your best bet for a mod would be an engine swap with the 369bhp C-Cla Saloon. The already BHP endowed range of C-Classs reward tuners with a satisfying power gain. Your first engine modifications for your C-Class should be an induction kit, sports exhaust and fuel boost valve.
A fast road cam will make quite a difference to the peak power of your C-Class. Turn your attention next to the C-Classs engine head. With a good gas flowed ported engine you will see much better mid and peak range power.
