Modifications for the Noble M12

Engine Tuning

Our guide will make your M12 much better and more fun to drive!

Available in standard form with power of upto 427bhp (depending on the year), so this goes to show the tuning potential of the M12. From this you can increase the power from anywhere between 469.7bhp to 725.9bhp but this depends on how deep your pockets are and how much fairy dust you want to use! You will almost certainly need to look at turbo or supercharger mods to get near that maximum power figure and your engines internals would need to be a fair bit stronger!

Noble mods should include an engine swap to provide a better base to work from. The ’427bhp M12 Coupes’ is a real gem in terms of power. The Car Tuning Guide have been impressed by the M12s (especially the sporty ones!) They reward the tuner with even more power and a better ride. Top of your list for tuning mods will be a sports exhaust system, a fuel boost valve (for a snappy throttle response) and a good quality induction kit.

The modification that gives the biggest power gain on your car would be a fast road cam. Internal engine modifications that should be high up on your list would be polishing and porting the head.

The top M12 Coupe offers a base power level of 427 bhp. The car tuning guide would expect you to see power gains from 469.7 bhp to 725.9 bhp!

A M12 with forced induction (turbo or supercharger) will give even larger power gains that this. The top M12 offers a base power level of 427 bhp. When setup for motorports we can expect to see almost mythical power figures approaching 555.1 bhp to 811.3 bhp! Many M12 owners improve the handling of their cars with slightly stiffer springs. Although lowering improves handling you should stick to a drop of 35mm.
