Tuning modifications for the Peugeot 305

Lighter cars respond very well to tuning, if your car is heavy then your first job should include weight reduction. Top of your list for tuning mods will be a fuel boost valve (for a snappy throttle response) and a good quality panel air filter. The Car Tuning Guide recommend that on the 305s , you get a fast road cam.
NOTE: POWER GAINS ARE PROPORTIONAL TO YOUR BASE POWER. The more you start with the better your gain will be. Doing an engine swap will give a better result than modding a small engine. Internal engine modifications that should be high up on your list would be polishing and porting the head. Some 305 owners report increased MPG with a flowed head. Many 305 owners improve the handling of their cars with slightly stiffer springs. Although lowering improves handling you should stick to a drop of 35mm.
