Available in standard form with power of upto 150bhp (depending on the year), so this goes to show the tuning potential of the Cordoba. From this you can increase the power from anywhere between 165bhp to 255bhp and this would take a lot more than just bolting on a massive exhaust and adding a go faster stripe.
For serious power hikes like this you would need to look at rebores, porting and polishing and add into the mix a hefty dose of forced induction.

With a few mods you will make yours a road scortcher rather than just a hot hatch.Top of your list for tuning mods will be a sports exhaust system, a fuel boost valve (for a snappy throttle response) and a good quality induction kit.
The next level of modifications involve taking more aggressive action. The Cordoba responds well to a fast road cam which is one of the best value mods out there. Getting better flow through the head of the engine would reward your Cordoba with more power. So get the engine head polished and ported.

When setup for motorports we can expect to see almost mythical power figures approaching 195 bhp to 285 bhp! The Cordobas handling can be dramatically improved with some choice suspension modifications. A drop of 35mm will work well on most cars, any lower and you will hit other problems.
