From this you can increase the power from anywhere between 83.6bhp to 129.2bhp depending on how far you want to go. The larger power figure would need major work like a rebore, balancing, porting polishing and an agressive cam. It would also take a fairly hefty dose of forced induction.

NOTE: POWER GAINS ARE PROPORTIONAL TO YOUR BASE POWER. The more you start with the better your gain will be. Doing an engine swap will give a better result than modding a small engine. Getting better flow through the head of the engine would reward your Prius with more power and may actually give a little more economy. So get the engine head polished and ported. The Priuss handling can be dramatically improved with some choice suspension modifications. You shouldn’t really lower a car by more than 30-35mm.
